London-based Brazilian quartet delivering a powerful blend of samba jazz, bossa nova, afro-funk, and reimagined soul & pop classics in Brazilian rhythms.

Sambossa is a unique London-based Brazilian music quartet that brings the rich sounds and rhythms of Brazil to life in a compact, yet powerful format. Specializing in samba jazz and bossa nova, they offer a dynamic range of music from sultry bossa nova and grooving afro-funk to blistering samba. With a repertoire that includes original compositions, authentic versions of Brazilian and Latin classics, and soul & pop hits reimagined in Brazilian rhythms, Sambossa delights both listeners and dancers alike. Featuring three accomplished composers, each member adds their own unique style to the band’s vibrant sound.

Carolina Lelis is a captivating vocalist from São Paulo, known for her amazingly beautiful voice, incredible energy, and sensational stage presence that adds a new dimension to the band. Born into a family of musicians and holding a degree in acting, Carolina has recorded her own albums and in 2018 participated in The Voice Brazil

Marcelo Andrade is a hugely talented multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro, known for his beautiful and colorful lines on saxophones, violin, melodica, and flute. He has also recorded the highly acclaimed world music album African Tree.

Paul Rumbol is a London-based band leader, guitarist, and composer with over 25 years of experience immersing himself in World and Brazilian music. Having collaborated with some of the most talented Brazilian performers. Known for his innovative approach, he plays a unique guitar that allows him to simultaneously perform guitar, bass, and other instruments, creating a full, dynamic sound.

Food available from our specialist caterers.

There will also be some specially prepared world cuisine by our chefs newly arrived who have their own home catering set-up in Kent. Food will be available during the event and will need to be booked in advance.

Bring your own picnic chairs and mats. Toilets will be available to use.

Performances may be recorded for live streaming at a later date.

You are welcome to arrive early for a walk in some of the beautiful AONB countryside around us.

You will need to register and reserve your place before the event. There is limited capacity so please book early to avoid disappointment. Donations are most welcome and can be made after you have registered when we will send you a link.
