Come and celebrate Holi – the Festival of Colour, which heralds the beginning of Spring.

Nepalese bollywood dance workshop + bollywood music + food to buy + Holi colours . There will be food stalls with Nepalese snacks and delicacies for you to buy, as well as arts and crafts stalls.

Holi colours will be supplied at the event.

Equator Festival : Holi Celebration Ashford

Come and celebrate Holi – the Festival of Colour, which heralds the beginning of Spring.

Featuring top Asian Dj DJ Ritu + Bollywood dance workshop + food stalls of traditional Indian and Nepalese delicacies available to buy. Music with bhajans and art workshop + bollywood dance workshop. Please email us if you are interested in taking part in the Holi art workshop.

Holi colours will be supplied at the event.

11am – Puja organised by the Asian Dharmik and Cultural society (ADCS)

Bhajans will be performed after this, and there will be a small talk and sketch about Holi (organised by ADCS)

Food available from 1pm

Bollywood workshop and Rangoli Art workshop from 1pm.

Bollywood music from leading Asian dj DJ Ritu from 1pm

Playing with Holi colour 2pm

In the stunning landscape of the North Downs overlooking the coast and white cliffs of Dover and near Dover Castle and next to Burgoyne Fort we invite you to enjoy this beautiful countryside, listen to some music, dance, eat and take a walk along the top of the North Downs where you can enjoy some amazing views! Voted in the Top 10 places to visit in The Lonely Planet guide.

A free Festival with stalls and food you can purchase.

A free festival celebrating different cultures with world music, dance, food and arts/crafts activities. The day will include African, Nepalese, south Asian, Chinese and Syrian music, dances and food and arts/crafts to purchase.

We are grateful to Land Trust/ Burgoyne Fort for the use of their field and the Army Welfare Support for the use of the community centre.

There will be disabled access to the festival and toilets, and we will also have a BSL interpreter.

Less plastics Policy – We are keen to reduce the use of plastics in festivals and you can help by bringing your own water flasks and cups. There will be a bar on site and wine, beer, cans of soft drinks, teas. coffees and food will be available to purchase.
