Orchestra from Everywhere

Tenterden Rotary Club invites you to join us for a musical evening to raise funds for charities important to our community, and to celebrate the end of our 75th year as a Rotary Club. The evening will reflect on our achievements, and put us on track for our next 75 years!

Thanks to our Tenterden Rotary member, Priti Paintal, Artistic Director of Equator/ShivaNova, our evening will include music from the new Orchestra from Everywhere – a group of high-quality classically trained musicians from different countries who have made the UK their home. They play music together from their own traditions and cultures, along with music they have created to bring cultures and identities together. We will also have a musical celebration of Ukraine, featuring a variety of amazing musicians now living in the UK as refugees from the War in Ukraine. Their songs of hope are guaranteed to bring joy to all who hear them.

Thanks to the enormous generosity of the Ozgur Restaurant and our local Ukrainian families in Tenterden, there will also be fantastic food on the night, a celebration of our diversity as a community! Tickets include a full meal, with a paid bar for those who like a tipple (or something non-alcoholic).
