The Diversity Art Network is back for 2019 and after a great meeting with the Arts Council there is lots to discuss.
- Developing the network in areas with low cultural engagement.
- Developing a rural touring network that would include venues and also take work into village halls and more remote areas. With this would be increased marketing support on a Kent-wide basis and raising the profile of the work.
- Developing emerging talent – focusing on 8-10 artists that we as a network would be interested in supporting, commissioning and developing work with them that could be toured into venues, schools and become part of the rural touring network.
- Discussion on how to better engage with artists from low-cultural engagement
We want to get as many people as possible to engage with this discussion so we will be holding the event on both Friday 25th January and Friday 1st February 2019. Hope you can make it.
